Jubaland Development Organization (JDO) is a registered Non-Governmental Organization working in Somalia in particular Juba, Shabelle, Bay, and Gedo and Puntland regions of South Somalia. The organization was established by Somali professionals who were concerned about the poor and deteriorating humanitarian conditions of poor families and the collapsed economic infrastructures in Somalia which had endured for over two decades of continuous and incessant conflicts, droughts, floods and political upheavals.

JDO was established as a venue and tool to support and raise awareness for the destitute and deprived people in the horn Africa nation affected by prolonged conflict, droughts and flooding’s without access to basic services such as clean water and sanitation services, health, education, Agriculture infrastructures and food. JDO is committed in providing livelihood Support, sufficient safe water and sanitations, household livelihood, agriculture inputs support to allow the local populations in producing their own food and sustainable productions. JDO is in partnership with FAO, OCHA, UNICEF, South Africa Government and several individual donors.

JDO has its headquarters in Mogadishu and maintains sub-offices in Kismayo, Dhobley, Afmadow, Garowe, Baidoa and Merka towns respectively.
